Along with the efforts of implementing the Clinical Establishment Act in the state, the Government is now preparing to apply the Fee Act in the schools of the state. The government is trying to ensure that the fee act on school is implemented in the coming session. After this Act, uniform fees system will be applied in all schools.
The Education Minister, Arvind Pandey declared the news in an event in Rishikesh on Thursday. He also said that the state government is going to take new initiatives to raise the level of the education provided to the students. The state is going to introduce the Fee Act very soon. We have given this signal to private schools. Public schools have been clearly told that the amount of facilities you give to the children, the same fees will be recovered from the parents.
There are schools which lack facilities and charge more fees, action will be taken against such schools. There are many schools where there is not a high level of systematic playgrounds and studies, they charge huge amount from the parents in the name of the English medium. Now this attitude will not work. Our best efforts are to apply the fees act from the next session in the state.
Education Minister said that we are going to recruit teachers to improve the quality of government schools. This process will start very soon. After this there will be no shortage of teachers in any government school. He said that the schools which don’t have proper buildings, or those which are running in rented buildings, we will soon adjust to the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. The issue of education grant for BPL families will be resolved soon. The installment of Rs.50 crore from the center came for those schools, where the children of BPL families read. We have distributed grants in all schools. Soon the second installment from the center is coming.
